my first short but actual long week

My first week is over! So here is my first blog post about my experience, thoughts and feelings so far that I want to share.

my accommodation

Borgeby Castle. That’s what the place is called where I’m living.
I’m not really seeing much from the castle itself but my room that I’m sharing with an intern who is working in the same company as me are great.

that’s me! and also the house where I live
side view of the house – sunsets are always great, right? Don’t worry I want to share more with you!
my room! enough space for 2 people 🙂
outside view (the first days were cloudy but it was getting better)

my company

So because I arrived one week later my intern colleague could already share his first experiences so my expectations were already set and I wasn’t that nervous anymore.
Everyone else is working in Lund except us! Already feeling special, right?

We are working in a startup in Malmö – the big city in south Sweden. It’s located in a startup house where different startups are focused in making the world an environmental better place! I think that’s pretty cool. The people in the company are very chill but also passionate about their work.

the weather

So my experience so far with the weather is that as long it’s not raining there will be wind. Cold wind. But that’s what you kind of expect when you are living near the water, right?

in conclusion …

I need more time to write a blog – or I should write less…
Because of eastern there were only 2 days of work and at the other days I was outside and traveled to different places (a lot of beaches and Copenhagen) and I really enjoyed the trips especially together with the other EU interns.

So my next post will be more pictures and less words – I promise!
